Hot Tips for Classes

  • Arrive with plenty of time so you do not stress to get parked.
  • Be well hydrated when you arrive, there is tea and water on offer..
  • It’s best not to eat for at least 2 hours before class.
  • If you have an injury or medical condition please let your instructor know.
  • Mats and props are provided.
  • Wear light and comfortable clothes to class so you can move easily.
  • Bring a warm layer or blanket to class.
  • No shoes are required or allowed in the class room.
  • Pace yourself and remember to breathe.
  • Yoga is non-competitive.
  • Learn by watching and listening to the teacher and your body.
  • Feel free to ask questions.
  • If you need to rest, it’s okay to take a break.
  • Listen to your body and take a rest.
  • Should you feel dizzy or out of breath at any point, take some deep exhalations and relax.
  • Be patient.  It usually takes a few classes before you get into the flow of the class.
  • Please do not forget to switch off your mobile phone.
