Hot Tips for Classes
- Arrive with plenty of time so you do not stress to get parked.
- Be well hydrated when you arrive, there is tea and water on offer..
- It’s best not to eat for at least 2 hours before class.
- If you have an injury or medical condition please let your instructor know.
- Mats and props are provided.
- Wear light and comfortable clothes to class so you can move easily.
- Bring a warm layer or blanket to class.
- No shoes are required or allowed in the class room.
- Pace yourself and remember to breathe.
- Yoga is non-competitive.
- Learn by watching and listening to the teacher and your body.
- Feel free to ask questions.
- If you need to rest, it’s okay to take a break.
- Listen to your body and take a rest.
- Should you feel dizzy or out of breath at any point, take some deep exhalations and relax.
- Be patient. It usually takes a few classes before you get into the flow of the class.
- Please do not forget to switch off your mobile phone.
